Magical Mexico: The Land of The Feathered Serpent

What could be the better prize!
The translation of the name “Mexico” means “in the belly-bottom of the Moon”. The energies of the Moon (feminine) and the Sun (masculine) where considered both all-important. And taking in mind that the unity of both is necessary for a creation of a new life it is no surprise that all the god-spirits in ancient Mexican pantheon always go in pairs, complementing each other. And both parts honored in ancient Mexican traditions.
But Mexico is a unique part of the World also because of the fact, that that ancient knowledge didn’t disappeared in history, but are keeping in the sacred tradition of its original native nations. And they are passing that tradition over and over from one generation to the next one.
Now we can meet with these keepers of the Tradition and become part of it in our adventures.

The details of the trip:
The Journey will be held in the manner of “International Group of Researches of Culture and Shamanic Traditions”
We are going to make a sacred journey with two main and many smaller shamanic encounters and ceremonies.
—
First part – Central Mexico:
On the first round we will explore Central Mexico, with its mysterious ancient cities with its living indigenous traditions, with its magical hot springs, hidden in the canyons and underground caves.
This part of the trip will be an acquaintance with the traditional practices of ancient Mexico, that are alive and performed by the true keepers of that Path.
As a result of the first part we will know ourselves and the Magic Land better, we will prepare our body and spirit for the coming adventures of the second part.
Day 1 – Arrival to Mexico City
Your group arrives at International airport of Mexico-City – Benito Juarez. There you will be met by the trip leader and transferred to the local hotel to have a rest from the long trip.
We will leave most of the discoveries of this city to the another day of our journey.
Day 2 – Mexico City tour
Mexico-City – one of the biggest mega polices on Earth and considering all the satellites around merging with its borders – the biggest. It was built on the ruins of ancient capital of Aztec Empire – Tenochtitlan. Surrounded by the huge Vulcans, now it has extended throughout the valley, which once was a lace, and is climbing the slopes on the mountains.
The stones of its streets in the Historical Center, walls of the colonial-era buildings, its monuments and even everything below the surface under your feet – all this is penetrated by the History, the events from the past, recent and distant one, highs and lows of empires and republics, revolutions, victories and losses. The history and culture is intricately intertwined with the modern rhythm of the commercial life, where many objects bear the title of “the biggest” – The Cathedral, the central square, The University, the Anthropology museum etc…
We will visit most iconic places of the city on the first half of this day. We will go to the remarkable market of handicrafts, taken from all over the country.
At the evening we will go to our next place – a special location to perform at night our first encounter with the deep tradition of both ancient and modern indigenous cultures of Mexico.
—
First Deep Shamanic Encounter
On the side of the ancient powerful city we have a very special meeting with the native tradition of Mexico. It is a deep healing ceremony performed by the Native Mexican shaman that will last whole night. All the details and info for preparation will be given for the group of participants in advance.

Day 3 – Teotihuacan
This day we dedicate to the visit of ancient ruins of Teotihuacan.
Built more than two millennia ago, this city was a legend even in the times of the Aztec empire and the arrival of the first Europeans on the continent. Its temples were covered with many meters of soil and stones, and trees and cactus where grown on the slopes and among the silent streets and squares.
But even Aztecs where so impressed by the greatness of its ruins so they gave a name to it as we know it now – Teotihuacan: The City of the Gods. They thought that only the Goods could build something so marvelous, so perfect and huge.
The real and massive excavations started at the beginning of the 20th century, and keep going to the present day, offering new more and more surprising discoveries each year. Through this work the true scale of the greatness of this city is unfolding layer by layer. It was thoroughly oriented with the main celestial events as well as the mountains around, with its sophisticated irrigation system and hanging pools and gardens, fine stone carvings and painted walls, embassies of distant empires, sacred and sealed caves…
This city, whose original name we don’t know to the date, is probably the most remarkable monument of Mesoamerica.
—
Temazcal
As part of the plan of our trip we may extra offer to you a true Toltec Temazcal, done by the inheritors of the traditions of the original builders of this City.
—
Days 4-5 – Hot Sacred Springs
In the middle of central mountain ridge of Mexico, where the deserted plateau ended up with canyons leading to the Mexican coast, there is a unique place on earth, a true wonder of Mother Nature, for millennia considered one of the sacred places.
As a place of active volcanoes, the Central Mexico heats up the underground layers of Earth and the water when it is penetrating the many cracks of the core. This gives birth for a multitude of hot mineral springs all over the region. But here, in this special place, there are also rivers running down the canyon… and they meet together right in one spot.
You will meet there the caves with the temperature of a sauna, and the chilling waterfalls at the exit. And around in the canyon – a series of natural and man made Jacuzzi like pools hidden within the tropical jungle.
This place offers a true restoration for the body and the soul. It nurtures both body and soul with the energies of the Nature, that literally are sparkling around in all the corners.
Day 6 – The Lost City on the Mountains
Spending part of the day enjoying the hot springs, we then start our next round.
This day we will visit the small, but beautiful ruins of an ancient city, located on the top of a table-mountain. Rarely visited by the tourists, this place offers solitude and intimacy, that is hard to obtain on the more popular locations.
Then we will proceed to one of the towns of this region, that carry a title of “Magical Town”. In Mexico the towns with this title are famous with its unique ambient, architecture and style. A true Mexican Spirit cannot be understanding without knowing at least one of them!
Day 7 – The Rock
Today we will make a visit to another Sacred Place. A monument of Nature – the core of an old Vulcan – the once hot flow of lava that now stands as a column of the rock as a sight of the Earth’s Power of Creation.
We will make an offering to this place, giving thanks to the Earth for all the gifts she provides to us.
Day 8 – Tollan
On the way back to Mexico-City we will visit Tula de Allende – the ancient city of Toltec civilization.
In the mythology of the Aztecs, which was a set of legends already before the arrival of the Spaniards, the ancient Toltec people are mentioned as ancient masters and craftsmen who created all the most beautiful things on earth, and their main city – Tollan (Tula). For a long time, the city was considered fictitious, until archaeologists noticed small hills within the city of Tula de Allende. Already the first excavations showed that a large city of the era of the historical Toltecs had been discovered.
Tula, as the capital of the Toltecs, reveals to us their rich creative past. It is of great value thanks to its colonnades and warriors – “Atlantes” – figures carved from stone that stand on top of the Pyramid of the Morning Star. The feathered serpent, apparently, was an extremely important symbol in Tula. His image is found every now and then in the painting and architecture of the city, he wraps around the columns of buildings and looks at us from the wall paintings of the pyramids.
And then we will take a night-long trip to our next destination – to the bearers of the True Tradition…
—
Second part – To the Tradition Keepers
Next days we will spent in and remote indigenous community located in a beautiful land. Here, in a pristine and unadapted environment we will submerge into a very center of native traditions and cosmogony of the Surviving Toltecs – the real bearers of Ancient Truth.
Days 9-11 – Into the Live Culture
I must warn you at the very beginning – there people are far from the picturesque images of “Indians” from the western books and Hollywood movies. They are real, probably far more real than we are with our artificial life on the big cities and much farther that any fantasies of the typical European white person about the native life. Only an unbiased eye of a sincere explorer, ready for the unexpected and without any prejudice, may grasp the thin line in-between the modern day world and Other Reality – reality of pure Magic, to which that people have full access.
I will assist you to make this transition. I am sure – we can do it.
—
Third part – The Mother of the Waters
Our next part in our journey guide us to the coast of the Pacific Ocean. One of the most sacred places in the Tradition is located here. We will stand in a place where, according to the local legends, the ancient Mother Turtle came out to the shore of the newborn Earth, bearing the code of Live in the figures of her sell. The code we so desperately need for understanding of our true nature.
—
Second Deep Shamanic Encounter
At the night we will perform one of the main ceremonies that the community performs throughout the year. We will bring our offerings to the Mother Ocean, and will receive its Power as a result of this interchange.
We will share the joy of sharing the fruits of Nature. We will dance, pray, laugh and cry. Some individual ceremonies of cleansing may be performed by the local shamans in accordance of the request.
—
Day 12 – Shamanic ceremony
Please, be warned – you cannot be there only as a spectator, as it is not a show for the tourists that one my find in other places. You HAVE TO participate. That’s the only way not only to show respect for the people that will receive us, but the only way to get the real personal experience too. Sometimes it will be hard, sometimes exhausting, uncomfortable and even shocking. If you never have been in some local communities – the cultural shock is almost guaranteed. But that’s the price you need to pay to touch a life which is much more REAL that we used to life our urban virtual life. Going through all the steps of that ceremony will change you forever. For the better you, indeed.
Days 13-14 – Beach time
We will spend another two days on the shore of the biggest Ocean of our planet. This will be the time ro restore and recharge ourselves with the immense power of that sacred source of Life.
Day 15 – The Return
This day after saying farewell to the Ocean, the start our trip back to Mexico-City. That will be a long journey, a time to recall all the memories of the past days, to settle down the experience gained, the challenges overcome, the gifts received.
